STARLIGHT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH OF KC

Scott F. Thomas is a native of Kansas City Missouri.  He is a graduate of the Kansas City Missouri Public School System, has completed the Distant Learning Program at Moody Bible Institute of Chicago Illinois, and has received an Associates of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies at Carver Baptist Bible College, Institute & Theological Seminary of Kansas City Missouri.

 

Pastor Thomas answered the call to ministry and was licensed in 1996 by Grace Community Church of Kansas City Missouri and was ordained in 2009 by Macedonia Baptist Church of Kansas City Missouri.  He has served as Minister of Christian Education and was responsible for planning and training laity for church education programs.  He currently serves as the nineth pastor of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City Missouri.

Pastor Thomas' desire is to see spiritual transformation in the lives of people through equipping.  He desires to establish a culture for Christians to grow through training, resources, experiences, and opportunities so they will experience changed lives and be effective in helping others know Christ. 

 

Pastor Thomas is married to Elberteen L. Thomas and they have four children and nine grandchildren.
